It is that time of year again when we are inundated with love and hearts, and those of us lucky to be in a relationship may look forward to romantic dinner and gifts. For our cats and dogs in the Sanctuary however it will be just another normal day, a day of dreaming for a forever family and love. In our Sanctuary we now have over 60 rescue cats, many of whom with medical conditions, and all of them desperate for their own home and their own “Valentine”.
We would like to use Valentine’s day to share some of the love that is going around with these cats. We would invite you to become one of our cat’s “Valentine” and donate towards a “Valentine’s dinner” for one (or more!) of our kitties. Through this fundraising drive we hope to raise enough funds not only to cover the cost of food for the kitties for the day but also help cover some other, exciting, costs that we have.
Our exciting Valentine’s news is that 15 of our cats have been offered places in Germany! However for these lucky ones we need to cover the cost of travel which is €100 per cat (preparation + transport). This is a large sum of money for a small charity like ourselves so we really need your support in helping pay for these cats to go to a better life in Germany, and subsequently free up space for other cats at the sanctuary.
So if you would like to do something good for Valentine’s why not offer to become one of our cats Valentine and donate towards them? All we are asking for is €10 per cat and in exchange we will send you your very own “Valentine’s ecard” to say thank you.
